In Australia, a 94-year-old church turned into a magnificent modern mansion

The Australian architectural studio DAHA has transformed the old church into a luxurious modern mansion that would envy even the most pious monk.

Located in Brisbane (Australia), Church House is a two-story architectural marvel with a pool, tennis court, whiskey bar, underground garage and a tunnel system. The view of this mansion is impressive! There is even a top-level bridge that connects the modern wing with the old church.

Initially, the church is listed on the local heritage register as the Church of the Transfiguration. It was built in 1924, and today creates a stunning contrast between the old and the new.
