The idea of producing biofuels from food waste is not new at all. The development of Israeli engineers was named Homebiogas. This design, installed in the courtyard of the house, is able to produce gas from food waste, as well as from the litter of pets. The useful device was tested in one of the Israeli settlements, which is located in a remote desert. Electricity is obtained here with the help of solar panels, and for cooking it was necessary to heat the stove, which is very inconvenient in the conditions of heat and in the absence of firewood in the district. Now, having this unique installation, people can receive up to 12 liters of biogas per day, which is enough for the stove to work for 3 hours.

The user-friendly design is completely tight, so the smell is completely eliminated. Using installation Homebiogas it turns out not only biofuels, but also excellent fertilizer. Thus, cooking turns into an almost environmentally friendly process, completely solves the problem of recycling food waste, and even does not require any energy costs. The only drawback of this promising device is that it only works in positive temperatures. To date, the installation is available in various variations and costs about $ 500.
