Photos that explain why Iceland is a haven for photographers

Over the past 15 years, tourism in Iceland has experienced a real boom. The number of foreign visitors in the country has grown from 600,000 in 2000 to 4.4 million in 2014, and these numbers continue to grow! The exceptional landscape of Iceland is not able to leave anyone indifferent, but photographers especially love it, because such landscapes can not be removed anywhere else in the world.

Thanks to its majestic glaciers, spectacular northern lights, stunning waterfalls and wildlife, Iceland is on the dream lists of most travelers. Professional photographer Albert Dros, who organizes photo tours of this amazing country, shared some of her most memorable pictures of her.

Looking at these photos, it’s easy to see why so many people flock to the northern island every year to see for themselves the beauty that legends already circulate about.
