Despite the fact that we live in an era of rapid progress and synthetic materials, ropes made using old technologies using natural plant materials are still in demand. Of course, their production is not a very high-tech process, but nonetheless quite interesting.

Ropes and ropes made of various plant materials have long been used on ships. Today, the need for them is not as great as, for example, 100 years ago, but still they are still being produced. The fact is that such ropes have high strength and are also resistant to the effects of sea salt water.

Today ropes from hemp, sisal and other plant materials are used to equip ships, as well as for various decorative purposes. And here is the process of rope production at one of the enterprises.
