Rafael Nadal attended the opening of a tennis center in Mexico

This week, Mexico celebrated the opening of two new resorts in the Spanish Palladium Hotel Group. The landmark event was visited by the legendary athlete Rafael Nadal - on February 19 at the TRS Coral Hotel and Grand Palladium Costa Mujeres Resort & Spa, a tennis academy named in his honor began to work. The ceremony was attended by more than 480 guests from 14 countries.

The official opening of the first tennis center of Rafael Nadal, located in the resorts of the Palladium Hotel Group in Costa Mujeres, began with a press conference. According to the athlete himself, this is the first tennis complex that opened outside the Raphael Nadal Academy in Mallorca. The tennis player is confident that the new TRS Coral Hotel and Grand Palladium Costa Mujeres Resort & Spa hotels in Mexico will be the ideal place for outdoor enthusiasts.

Also at the event was Abel Matutes Prats, CEO of the Palladium Hotel Group, who expressed his pride in collaborating with one of the iconic athletes of our time. Together they solemnly cut the ribbon and presented the logo of the tennis center at an international press conference.

The new tennis center offers unique sports programs developed by Rafael Nadal himself and his technical team. All areas involve working with groups of different ages and levels of training. The academy will be able to deal with both hotel guests and everyone. In total, there are eight tennis courts, a soccer field, a paddle tennis court, a gym for warming up, stretching and basic training. Also, all fans of the eminent athlete can visit a special exhibition area dedicated to the career of Rafael Nadal.

Recall that on November 1, Mexico launched two new five-star resorts of the Spanish Palladium Hotel Group chain. The first is the TRS Coral Hotel, which involves adults only, and the second is the Grand Palladium Costa Mujeres Resort & Spa, which also has a separate Family Selection Costa Mujeres complex, ideal for families. All three hotels are located near Cancun on the beach of Costa Mujeres and are united by a common infrastructure. On their territory there are 14 restaurants and bars, a wedding chapel and the first tennis academy in Mexico of the legendary athlete Rafael Nadal.
