17 posters of the Great Depression about kindness and care for animals

The thirties of the last century were damn difficult for the United States of America. The Great Depression devoured all spheres of life of American citizens and knelt even those who seemed unshakable. It is striking that even in such a terrifying period, some Americans found time for something more than super-heavy attempts to survive. The American Humanist Association then spent the week "Be kind to animals." During these few days, employees distributed images of people caring for pets. For the posters, the works of the artist Dennis Morgan, who by that time had already become famous for his illustrations, were used.

On each poster was painted a charming baby caring for the animal. The main purpose of the action was to inform that people should treat animals with love and respect. Take a look at some of these amazing works.
