The photographer combined portraits of relatives and showed that genetics is a terrible force

Take a good look at yourself: your face is a mirror that simultaneously reflects the past, present and future. Genes are striking multifunctional units that, among other things, make us look like our parents, grandparents, and even our cousins. And it was this amazing function that inspired Ulric Collett, a photographer and designer from Quebec, to create the project “Genetic Portraits”.

The Canadian combined portraits of his closest relatives to demonstrate how powerful and unconditionally powerful genetics is. The result of his labors is so overwhelming that sometimes it seems as if the same person is depicted in the picture, only at different ages.
