In a German circus, holograms appear in the arena instead of animals

For many centuries of the circus, viewers could not imagine this type of entertainment without the participation of animals. Trainers mercilessly trained lions, horses, elephants, monkeys and other animals, which in fact are ten times superior to humans in strength and dexterity. Today, the sight of a mighty lion clinging to the floor or jumping through a ring of fire under the blows of a tiger whip seems unbearable to many. Still, all these amazing and majestic representatives of the wild fauna were not created in order to obey us. They are the guarantee of a healthy and prosperous existence of our planet, and for us is an extra reason to admire the diversity and imagination of wildlife.

The employees of the German circus Roncalli are convinced that in their institution there is no place for real animals and cruelty. But even without the little animals that children especially love, it will not be so exciting. Inventive colleagues found a very interesting way out of the situation: instead of animals from flesh and blood in the arena, holograms appear in front of the audience!

The circus of Ronkali has a rich history, for more than forty years he has been entertaining the crowd with his incredible shows with animals. But some time ago, the circus leadership made a fateful decision regarding the fight against animal cruelty in the industry.

Today, their show, as well as before, does not do without tusks, tails, fiery circles and acrobatic stunts, but for the first time in the history of the circus, none of the animals is real. For Roncalli, three-dimensional holographic images were created that appear on the arena using projectors.

Such a bold step was the result of growing worldwide concern about the fate of circus animals that spend their whole lives in terrible conditions in captivity. Animal advocates constantly accuse circuses of beating, starving and keeping animals in unsanitary conditions, not to mention the fact that unfortunate creatures are forced to speak to crowds of people sometimes several times a day.
