Street artist made trolleybus disappear in Vilnius

Trolleybuses have become a rare occurrence in most modern cities, but they still form part of the cityscapes of Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania. Therefore, the organizers of the Vilnius Street Art festival, inspired by the measured electric buzz of this vehicle and its red-white aesthetics, invited an artist named Ludas Parulskis to create an unusual appearance of one of the city trolleybuses.

In his work, Ludas Parulskis decided to reflect the originality and uniqueness of his native city. The artist offered the townspeople an unusual view of reality. The concept of an “endangered trolley” implies a street perspective written on it from both sides. Thus, once a day, at the intersection of Tumo Vaizganto Street and Gediminas Avenue, the transport seems to “disappear”, disguising itself as the surrounding city landscape. Parulskis also added to the image of a wolf crossing the road, since he is a spiritual animal and a kind of symbol of the city for hundreds of years.

"Disappearing trolley" with a wolf, which is the spiritual symbol of the city.

The place where all this magic began.

It took a long time to prepare for the transformation of the trolleybus.

The image was stuck on the transport.

It was applied on both sides of the trolleybus.

The trolleybus seems to disappear at the intersection of Gediminas Avenue.
