India's Pink City: magical shots of Jaipur, which is UNESCO listed

Most recently, UNESCO updated its list of World Heritage Sites, and it included the magical Indian city of Jaipur. The capital of Rajasthan is also called the "pink city" because most of its buildings are made of pink stones.

Jaipur was founded in 1727, and built it, adhering to the ideas of Vedic architecture. In India, they believe that a person should be in perfect harmony with the Universe, therefore even buildings should be built at a certain angle and have the right proportions. It is this harmony that will ensure the prosperity of man and strengthen his health.

Jaipur is famous for its colorful markets, magnificent temples, small shops and has long been loved by travelers.

Due to the fact that the “Pink City” is now on the UNESCO list, this will allow it to maintain its identity, because the construction of undesirable structures in the historical part is now banned. Jaipur became the second city in India, after Ahmedabad, included in the World Heritage List.
