Lodeynoye (New Teriberka). Landscapes of the nuclear apocalypse

If there was a nuclear war on Earth, then, after a hundred years, it was here that memories of the apocalypse could be removed ... I will say in advance that these species were not the purpose of my trip, they were rather attached ... like an echo of hopelessness, like echoes of a “leviathan”. Currently Teriberka consists of two settlements: Teriberka and Lodeynoye (New Teriberka). Let's start with the second, but the most interesting, in my opinion, settlement.

Lodeynoye appeared in 1930, 2 km from Teriberka. Ship repair workshops and fisheries were the basis for existence.

The bridge, built in 1987 and well remembered for the famous film, connects the village with Teriberka. Kolya’s house was almost next to him ...

Since the transfer of the main production facilities to Murmansk in Lodeynoy, decline has begun. Everything is totally destroyed. People live ... although they probably survive in houses through whose walls the sky is visible. Until 2017, it is planned to resettle residents. Some offer housing in the suburbs of Murmansk Kole, others began to build a house right here.
